BGMEA Chittagong Region Organizes Iftar and Doa Mahfil

Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Chittagong Region organized an Iftar and Doa Mahfil. The event was organized at the Navy Convention Center in the city on Saturday (March 7, 2026).

State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin was present as the chief guest at the event presided over by BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan Babu. Chittagong City Corporation Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain, Member of Parliament Shahjahan Chowdhury, KDS Group Chairman Alhaj Khalilur Rahman, Chittagong Metropolitan Police Commissioner and Customs Commissioner were present as special guests.

BGMEA’s Saif Ullah Mansur moderated the program, and BGMEA’s First Vice President Selim Rahman, former First Vice President and current Director Mohammad Abdus Salam, Senior Vice President Enamul Haque Khan, Vice Presidents Md. Rizwan Selim, Mizanur Rahman, Vidya Amrit Khan and Muhammad Rafiq Chowdhury spoke at the program.

BGMEA Director MDM Mohiuddin Chowdhury, SM Abu Tayyab, Sakif Ahmed Salam, Enamul Aziz Chowdhury, Rakibul Alam Chowdhury, Syed Mohammad Tanvir, along with directors from Dhaka and entrepreneurs of the garment sector in the Chittagong region were present at the program.

After the iftar, special prayers and prayers were held for the welfare of the country and the nation.
