Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC’s Banani branch has been relocated to Century Trade Center, Holding No. 23, Road No. 17, Banani, Dhaka.
On Saturday (February 28, 2026), the bank’s Managing Director Md. Omar Farooq Khan inaugurated the branch at the new location as the chief guest. The function, chaired by Senior Executive Vice President and Dhaka North Zone Head AKM Mahbub Morshed, was attended by the bank’s Executive Vice President Md. Majnuzzaman, former Registrar of Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board Professor Md. Shahjahan and former Additional Secretary Md. Nazrul Islam as special guests.
The main speaker was Maulana Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Khatib of Banani Central Mosque, and the welcome speech was delivered by Banani Branch Head Md. Habibur Rahman. Customers and well-wishers were present at the time.
