UK Under-Secretary Seema Malhotra pays courtesy call on newly elected Prime Minister

UK Under-Secretary Seema Malhotra paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman after attending the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

She extended congratulations on behalf of the UK government and expressed her desire to strengthen cooperation in trade, investment, climate change, education and migration. Both countries expressed their hope for a more fruitful partnership in the future.
