A panel discussion was held on the current challenges and prospects of Bangladesh’s shipbuilding industry

On Saturday, November 9, 2024, Savor International Limited successfully hosted a panel discussion titled “Sailing Through Storms: Confronting Obstacles in Shipbuilding Growth” at Hall 2, Bashundhara Convention Center (ICCB) in Dhaka. The event, which took place at 11:00 AM, aimed to address the current challenges and opportunities within the shipbuilding industry in Bangladesh, as well as to explore strategies for advancing the sector.

The discussion brought together a diverse group of industry experts, shipbuilding professionals, and business leaders to delve into various aspects of the shipbuilding sector, including technological innovation, market competition, sustainable growth, and Bangladesh’s potential for international competitiveness. The panelists provided insights on overcoming obstacles faced by the industry while identifying key drivers of progress for the domestic shipbuilding sector.

Throughout the session, the panelists discussed pressing issues such as the integration of new technologies in shipbuilding, improving efficiency in production, and the importance of sustainability in the industry.
