Discussions on expanding US cooperation in developing Bangladesh’s energy sector held

An important discussion was held at the initiative of the US Embassy in Dhaka on the development and expansion of cooperation in the energy sector of Bangladesh. At the meeting, the new US Ambassador to Bangladesh, Brent T. Christensen, met with Energy Advisor Muhammad Fauzul Kabir Khan.

The meeting discussed the further expansion of the participation and cooperation of various US companies in the energy sector of Bangladesh. In particular, the role of American energy solutions in onshore energy exploration, power grid development, and LNG and LPG supply systems is important.

The discussion noted that the technology and investment of US energy companies are helping to ensure adequate, reliable, and sustainable energy supply to homes and businesses in Bangladesh. This cooperation is playing a positive role in strengthening the country’s energy security as well as economic growth and industrialization.
