Chief Advisor congratulates SAFF-winning women’s futsal team

Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus has expressed his sincere congratulations on the historic success of the Bangladesh women’s futsal team.

In a congratulatory message, he said that winning the title through excellent performance in the SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship is a source of pride for the country’s sports. The Chief Advisor said that this success is a shining proof of the indomitable spirit, hard work and ability of Bangladesh’s female athletes.

The Chief Advisor thanked the players, coaching staff and all concerned of the winning team and said that this achievement will further encourage the country’s young generation to play sports and will further brighten the image of Bangladesh in the international arena.

He wished the women athletes continued success in the future.

Incidentally, Bangladesh became the champion by defeating Maldives by 14-2 goals on the last day of the tournament in Bangkok today.
