Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman visited BNP office to offer condolences to Tarique Rahman and his bereaved family

The Honorable Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman today (January 1, 2026) at 7 pm offered condolences to BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman and his bereaved family. At this time, he expressed deep shock at the death of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and signed the condolence book.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman inquired about Tarique Rahman’s well-being and consoled him. He expressed condolences to the bereaved family members and colleagues.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee Members Nazrul Islam Khan, Salah Uddin Ahmed, and Dr. Zahid Hossain were present at the time.

Jamaat was accompanied by the organization’s Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Central Publicity and Media Department, Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, and Central Executive Council members Saiful Alam Khan Milon and Mubarak Hossain.
