He officially joined BNP on Sunday after leaving the post of General Secretary of the People’s Rights Council.
He joined BNP by presenting flowers to BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at a ceremony organized at the political office of the BNP Chairperson in Gulshan today, Saturday (December 27, 2025).
At the BNP joining ceremony, Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, Md. Rashed Khan will vote with the paddy sheaf symbol as the BNP candidate in Jhenaidah-4 (part of Kaliganj and Sadar). All of you will support Rashed Khan all the way on behalf of the party.
