BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman is returning home after a long wait. There is a festive atmosphere surrounding his return to the country.
The stage has been set up at 300 feet in the capital to welcome him. Before dawn, the entire 300 feet road in Purbachal was filled with people. The entire area was covered in banners, festoons and party flags.
On Thursday (December 25), the leaders and activists waited through the night, ignoring the bitter cold wind. Some came from far-off districts, while others spent the night on the road.
