6 Bangladeshi peacekeepers killed in drone attack in Sudan

Six Bangladesh Army peacekeepers have been killed in a terrorist attack in the Abyei area of ​​Sudan, Africa. More peacekeepers have been injured. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced this information in a message on Saturday (December 13, 2025) evening.

According to the ISPR, terrorists launched an ambush on a base of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in the Abyei area of ​​Sudan. A total of 14 Bangladesh Army peacekeepers were killed in this. Of these, six were killed and eight were injured.

A post published on the verified Facebook page of the Bangladesh Army said that the situation in the area is still unstable and clashes with terrorists are ongoing. Necessary medical and rescue activities have been intensified for the injured peacekeepers. The post also mentioned that details will be announced later as the situation progresses.
