Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh has died.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. He was 82 years old at the time of his death. He died at his residence in Riyadh at around 11am local time on Tuesday (September 23).
He also served as chairman of the Council of Senior Ulama, chairman of the Islamic Research and Ifta Board, and head of the Supreme Council of the Muslim World League.
