The Election Commission of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Tuesday (September 23, 2025) released the draft list of voters for the board of directors election. Some of the names of 177 councilor posts are yet to be finalized. The places of representatives of six district sports organizations have been left vacant in this voter list.
The draft list includes three former Bangladesh captains—Aminul Islam Bulbul, Faruk Ahmed and Tamim Iqbal. Bulbul has been included as a representative of Dhaka Divisional Sports Organization, Faruk Ahmed as a councilor of Rangers Cricket Academy and Tamim Iqbal as a voter of Old DOHS Sports Club.
