UN Women Bangladesh Representative Gitanjali Singh recently held an important meeting with Asian Development Bank (ADB) Country Director for Bangladesh Ho Yun Jeong.
The meeting had in-depth discussions on various aspects of women’s empowerment, gender equality and the implementation of the Beijing+30 Agenda. The discussions focused on accelerating women’s economic empowerment, initiatives to increase women’s leadership in various sectors, effective measures to end violence against all women and girls, and strengthening the national women’s framework and addressing gender-based data gaps.
