July warriors are the sun of the country: Public Works Adviser

Housing and Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan said, the July warriors are the sun of the country. The nation will remember them for the rest of their lives. The conspiracy will not stop just because fascism has been defeated. The conspiracy is ongoing. The youth of the country and the people of the country will suppress and resist that fascism.

He said, the people of Bangladesh have been freed from fascism. However, all their aspirations have not been realized yet. The work of justice and reform is still pending. Efforts are being made to make justice visible and the judicial process is becoming visible.

Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan said these things at the inauguration ceremony of the “July Martyr Monument” along with the family members of the martyrs and injured July warriors in the mass uprising of students and the public in Natore on Saturday (September 6). Members of the July Martyr family of Natore were present on the stage at the time.

The adviser also said that the work of reform is also underway. Along with this, all preparations for the national elections are underway. I hope that this government of mass uprising will hold national elections on time by taking both justice and reforms forward. It will hand over responsibility to the elected government.

At the inauguration ceremony of the July Memorial, members of the martyrs’ families demanded the implementation of reform programs, the July Charter, speedy trial of the July murders and the arrest of the accused in the July murder case.

Public Works Secretary Md. Nazrul Islam, Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department Shamim Akhter, Deputy Commissioner Asma Shaheen, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Tariqul Islam and members of the July martyrs’ families were present at the inauguration ceremony of the July Memorial in Natore.

This morning, Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan, Secretary Md. Nazrul Islam, Deputy Commissioner Asma Shaheen and Superintendent of Police Mohammad Tariqul Islam along with district administration officials visited the graves of the five martyrs and paid their respects with flowers.
