6th Bangladesh International Marine and Offshore Expo (BIMOX 2024) Concludes with High Engagement

The 6th edition of the Bangladesh International Marine and Offshore Expo (BIMOX 2024), organized by Savor International Limited, successfully wrapped up at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka. Held from November 7 to November 9, 2024, the three-day event showcased cutting-edge technologies, materials, and equipment from across the marine, offshore oil and gas, logistics, port, and fisheries sectors.

The expo was inaugurated by Brigadier General (R.) Dr. M Sakhawat Hussain, Honorable Advisor of the Ministry of Shipping, Bangladesh. Distinguished guests included Rear Admiral Khandakar Akhter Hossain from the Bangladesh Navy, Mr. Christian Brix Møller, Honorable Ambassador from Denmark, and Mr. André Carstens, Head of Mission from the Netherlands, among others. Representatives from various local and international organizations, including Mr. Amirul Islam, Chairman of Savor International Limited, and Mr. Md. Faizul Alam, Managing Director of Savor International, also graced the occasion.

Featuring over 180 booths with exhibitors from 15 countries, the event provided a vibrant platform for showcasing innovations, products, and services in shipbuilding, offshore support, shipping logistics, automation, and fisheries. Thousands of visitors, including industry professionals and enthusiasts, attended the event, making it a focal point for new insights, networking, and business opportunities in the maritime sector.

The organizers aim to continue expanding the event’s reach, highlighting Bangladesh’s potential in the international marine and offshore industries.
