3-day training titled “Experimental Data Analysis Using ‘R’ Software” held at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SHU)

A three-day training workshop titled “Experimental Data Analysis Using ‘R’ Software” organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SHU) began on Wednesday (December 10, 2025) at the conference room on the 5th floor of the university’s Dr. Kazi M. Badruddoza Research Center. The training was inaugurated by IQAC Director Professor Dr. Md. Rajab Ali through recitation of the Holy Quran.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Latif, was present as the chief guest. He said, “Through this training, researchers at SHU will be more skilled in modern data analysis, which will enhance the excellence of research and education.”

The Vice-Chancellor of Kurigram Agricultural University, Professor Dr. Md. Rashedul Islam, Treasurer of SHKRI Professor Muhammad Abul Bashar and Director (Finance and Accounting) Professor Dr. A. K. M. Ruhul Amin.

The training was conducted by Additional Director of IQAC Professor Dr. Md. Mahbubul Alam. 43 experienced teachers from various faculties of SHKRI participated in the workshop that started at 10 am. The three-day training will teach various practical topics including the use of ‘R’ software in the analysis of experimental data of research, data visualization, statistical modeling.
