2 Islami Bank remittance customers receive gear bicycles

On the first day of the remittance campaign of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC and Western Union, Hamida Begum, a customer of Gorai Sub-Branch in Tangail, and Anup Kumar, a customer of Gulshan Corporate Branch in Dhaka, received gear bicycles. They received this award in view of the remittance sent by Zahid Sikder, an expatriate from Brunei Darussalam, and Sarah Sabrina, an American citizen.

The bank’s Managing Director (Acting) Md. Altaf Hussain was present as the chief guest at the digital raffle draw held at Islami Bank Tower on Monday (4 May 2026). The bank’s Deputy Managing Director Md. Rafiqul Islam, Senior Vice President Md. Abul Hasan, Head of Foreign Remittance Services Division Md. Motahar Hossain Molla, Head of Overseas Banking Division Mohammad Shahadat Hossain and representatives of Western Union were present at the event.

In this campaign, a total of 34 gear bicycles are being given away, two each, on every banking working day through a digital raffle draw among cash remittance recipients through Western Union. In addition, remittance customers are getting a wall clock as a guaranteed gift. This campaign will run until May 31, 2026.
