14 BGB platoons have been deployed in the capital Dhaka and neighboring areas of Narayanganj and Gazipur districts to strengthen security measures and maintain overall law and order.
BGB has been deployed to strengthen strict security measures in and around important government offices, court premises, important intersections in the capital.
Law enforcement officials said that patrols have been strengthened and surveillance has been increased to prevent any untoward incident.
