13th Biman Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2025 to kicks off from 30 October

The country’s largest tourism fair, the 13th Biman Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2025, will begin on Thursday (October 30) at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center in the capital Dhaka. The three-day international fair is being organized by the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB), the leading trade body in Bangladesh’s tourism sector. Tourism-related organizations, tour operators, and travel agents from 10 countries, including Pakistan, Nepal, and Bhutan, will take part in this year’s event. The state owned Biman Bangladesh Airlines, is the title sponsor of the fair.

The details were announced at a press conference held today (Tuesday, October 28) at the Hotel InterContinental Dhaka. TOAB President Md. Rafeuzzaman presided over the event.

TOAB Director – Trade & Fair Md. Taslim Amin Shovon briefed the press on the fair’s background and overall preparations. He stated that this year’s event will be “more vibrant and attractive” than in previous years. The fair is being supported by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Bangladesh Tourism Board, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, Tourist Police, and FBCCI. National tourism organizations and associations from Pakistan, Nepal, and Bhutan will participate alongside tour operators and travel agents from Maldives, Singapore, Vietnam, China, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia and Turkey. The event will also feature participation from international and domestic airlines, tourism boards, travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, resorts, cruise liners, and hospitals. The fair will host 220 stalls across 20 pavilions in four halls. Side events will include B2B sessions, seminars, and country presentations. Cultural programs and documentary screenings on Bangladesh’s tourist destinations will be organized every day, along with exciting raffle draw prizes for visitors. In this case, only those who enter the fair using the BTTF app will be eligible to participate in the raffle draw. Visitors can also enjoy a cashback offer on the entry fee through BTTF’s payment partner, bKash.

Speaking at the press meet, TOAB President Md. Rafeuzzaman said, “TOAB is the leading trade organization in Bangladesh’s tourism industry, and BTTF is the largest and most popular tourism fair in the country, which TOAB has been organizing since 2007.” Its main goal is to raise awareness and promote sustainable growth in tourism. We believe this year’s fair will generate significant enthusiasm among businesses, tourists, and all stakeholders in the tourism industry, contributing to the growth of the sector and to the national economy.”

The press event was also attended by Ashwani Nayar, Area General Manager IHG South West Asia and Gold Partner of BTTF 2025; Shahid Hamid, Executive Director of Regency Hotel & Resort Ltd., the Hospitality Partner; and representatives from bKash, the Payment Partner. Other attendees included TOAB’s First Vice President Abul Kalam Azad, Vice President Md. Anwar Hossain, Immediate Past President Shiblul Azam Koreshi, TOAB Directors, TOAB Steering Committee Chairman & Co-Chairman, and TOAB officials.

The fair will remain open to visitors from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. Entry tickets are priced at Tk.50, while students, freedom fighters and July fighters will be granted free entry.
