The Tourist Police participated in a colorful rally, discussion meeting and cultural program organized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism on the occasion of World Tourism Day 2025.
The Chief Guest of the program was Mr. Md. Mainul Hasan, BPM, PPM, NDC, Additional IGP, Tourist Police, Chief of Tourist Police. Also present at the rally and discussion program were Mr. Sheikh Bashiruddin, Honorable Advisor, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism; Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Honorable Advisor, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change and Water Resources.
In addition, Mr. Md. Ruhul Amin, BPM, DIG, Tourist Police Headquarters, Dhaka; Mr. Mohammad Sakhawat Hossain, Additional DIG, Tourist Police Dhaka-Sylhet-Mymensingh Division; and Mr. Bidhan Tripura, PPM (Bar), Additional DIG, Tourist Police Chittagong Division.
Other senior officials of the Tourist Police Headquarters also participated in the colorful program of the day. The speakers at the program highlighted the development of the tourism industry, ensuring a safe travel environment and the role of the Tourist Police in the tourism sector.
