Tourist Police Monthly Welfare Meeting and Retirement Farewell Reception Held

The monthly welfare meeting of the Tourist Police was held at the conference room of the Tourist Police Headquarters, Dhaka. The meeting was presided over by the Chief of Tourist Police, Mr. Md. Mainul Hasan, BPM, PPM, ndc, Additional IGP (Current Duty).

At the same event, the retirement farewell reception of the Additional Superintendent of Police of Tourist Police, Mr. Md. Matiur Rahman and Mr. Md. Rafiqul Hossain was also given.

Mr. Md. Ruhul Amin, BPM, DIG, Tourist Police Headquarters, Dhaka was present as a special guest at the event. Also present were Mr. Mohammad Sakhawat Hossain, Additional DIG, Tourist Police (Dhaka-Sylhet-Mymensingh Division), Mr. Bidhan Tripura, PPM (Bar), Additional DIG, Tourist Police (Chittagong Division), Mr. Md. Moniruzzaman, Additional DIG, Tourist Police and Mr. Dr. Md. Emdadul Haque, PPM, Additional DIG (Khulna-Barisal Division).

Senior officials of the Tourist Police Headquarters were present at the meeting. In the welfare meeting, the Police Superintendents and Zone In-charges of all the regions of the Tourist Police presented their opinions and suggestions while connecting virtually.

Important discussions were held in the meeting on the overall activities of the Tourist Police, manpower welfare, official discipline and strengthening the security of tourists. In his speech, the president praised the professionalism, dedication, and responsible role of the tourist police and called for them to perform their duties more efficiently in the future.
