Several constables working in the Tourist Police have been promoted. Among the promoted constables, Constable Amrit Lal Sahazi, Constable Md. Rubel Sikder, Constable Md. Faruk Uddin, Constable Nazmul Ahsan, Constable Md. Saddam Hossain and Constable Sajeeb Howlader were promoted to the rank of ASI (Unarmed). In addition, Constable Kamal Nayek working in the Tourist Police was promoted to the rank.
At the ceremony, the promoted police members were presented with rank badges by the Tourist Police Chief Mr. Md. Mainul Hasan, BPM, PPM, ndc, Additional IGP and Mr. Md. Ruhul Amin, BPM, DIG, Tourist Police Headquarters, Dhaka.
Senior officials of the Tourist Police Headquarters were present at the event.
