Tourist Police Chief Md. Mainul Hasan visited the newly formed Sitakunda Zone of Chittagong Region

Tourist Police Chief Mr. Md. Mainul Hasan, BPM, PPM, NDC, Additional IGP (Currently in Charge) Tourist Police Headquarters, Dhaka-Tourist Police, visited the newly formed Sitakunda Zone of the Tourist Police under Chittagong Region.

During the inspection, the Tourist Police Chief visited the entire building including the office room, force barracks, food mess of the zone. During this time, he inquired about the mental and physical well-being of all the officers and forces working in the Sitakunda Zone and provided necessary guidance in performing their duties.

In addition, he provided a detailed briefing regarding security duties at various tourist spots in the Sitakunda area—sea beaches, fountains and other scenic spots. He instructed the concerned to maintain adequate law and order in the tourist areas, ensure the safety of tourists and be alert to deal with any unpleasant situation quickly.

Also present during the inspection were the Tourist Police, Honorable Superintendent of Police of Chittagong Region Mr. Uttam Prasad Pathak, PPM-Service, Tourist Police Sitakunda Zone In-charge Police Inspector (Unarmed) Mr. Saikat Kumar Roy, Chittagong Zone In-charge Police Inspector (Unarmed) Mr. Swapan Kumar Aich and other officers and force members.
