TOAB will give awards in the tourism sector

TOAB International Tourism Award (TITA) will be given for contributing to the promotion and expansion of the country’s tourism sector at the local and international levels. Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) is going to introduce this new award. The award will be given to 23 individuals and organizations in 20 categories.

Shiblul Azam Qureshi, president of the organization, gave this information at a press conference at a hotel in the capital on Monday (May 20).

He said, each category includes different sectors of tourism services. Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Muhammad Farooq Khan will attend the award ceremony as the chief guest.

Bangladesh Tourism Corporation Public Relations Officer Aktar Ahmed said, Twab always gives us something new. The ideas that come from them are all innovative ideas. However, the safety of tourists must be ensured. It is a commendable initiative.

Senior officials of Bangladesh Tourism Corporation, Bangladesh Tourism Board, Bangladesh Tourist Police, Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Vice President of M360 ICT, Technology Partner of TOAB International Tourism Award (TITA) program, Chaudhuri Mostak Ahmed and (CEO) Fahim Shahriar spoke at the press conference. All Directors of TOAB and members of the Award Management Committee were present. The press conference was moderated by TOAB Director (Media and Publication) Mohammad Yunus.
