On Wednesday (August 14) afternoon, the businessmen’s conference on the ‘current overall business situation of the country and future actions’ was raised in the ballroom of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. Mahbubur Rahman, former president of FBCCI and president of International Chamber of Commerce, Bangladesh (ICC) presided over the program. Former President of FBCCI, Vice Chairman of BNP, Abdul Awal Mintu gave a welcome speech at the meeting.

Hundreds of businessmen including current and former leaders of trade organizations and chambers of various product-based sectors were present at the business conference. Jasim Uddin, former president of FBCCI, said, “We have to be together.” There can be no differences between traders. FBCCI needs to be reformed. It should be made a voice of business people together.
