BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman congratulated the footballers after their victory against India.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday (November 18, 2025), Tarique Rahman praised the footballers and said, “Finally, the long wait is over. Bangladesh has seen a victory against India after 2003. Hamza is overflowing with praise after this long-awaited victory.” Tarique Rahman also expressed his excitement about them.
Tarique Rahman wrote, “After 22 years, Bangladesh’s victory against India on the football field reminded us all – what we can achieve with discipline, unity and confidence.”
The BNP Acting Chairman said, “Our footballers are now the inspiration of the youth and the ambassadors of our sports culture. A bright future awaits in the sports arena of Bangladesh, where talent is nurtured, dreams are supported and our flag will fly higher.”
