Swiss Ambassador to Bangladesh pays courtesy call on Minister and State Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism

On Tuesday (June 16, 2026) at 10:30 am, Swiss Ambassador to Bangladesh Mr. Reto Renggli paid a courtesy call on Hon’ble Minister Afroza Khanam, MP and State Minister M. Rashiduzzaman Millat, MP at the conference room of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.

During the meeting, emphasis was laid on further strengthening, dynamic and multidimensional expansion of the existing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Switzerland. Switzerland expressed its interest in working jointly with Bangladesh in the aviation sector.

In addition, Swiss company Swissport expressed its interest in ground handling at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. The Hon’ble Minister and State Minister invited proposals on their behalf and assured consideration.
