Stepping Stone International School holds annual cultural program

Stepping Stone International School held its annual cultural program in Uttara, the capital. The event highlighted the importance of developing creativity and entrepreneurship in students.

The event was graced by the presence of Professor Dr. Syed Mohammad Shahed, Vice Chancellor of Tagore University of Creative Arts, as the chief guest. The guest of honor was the school’s Chairman and CEO AKM Ashraful Haque. In addition, Salauddin Chowdhury, Chairman AC Industrial Group and Director DBC News; Mrs. Sarwat Masuda Reza, Country Lead, Cambridge University Press and Assessment, India Private Limited; and Maqsuda Khan Misha, Managing Director, Stylish Garments Limited and School Advisor. The event was presided over by Afroza Haque Chowdhury, Acting Principal, Stepping Stone International School.

The speakers emphasized the need for entrepreneurship education in their speeches. They said that students should not be limited to textbook knowledge alone but should acquire entrepreneurial skills that can be applied in real life. It was specially mentioned that this program has been enriched with the support of the British Council.
