The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) and the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB) jointly successfully concluded the Sri Lanka Tourism Roadshow (B2B) and Networking Event in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday (8 October 2025).

The event was attended by 39 prominent travel and tourism organizations from Sri Lanka, representing the country’s leading hotels, resorts, airlines and MICE and Lease segments. The national airline SriLankan Airlines also participated in the delegation, reinforcing Sri Lanka’s commitment to tourism partnerships in the South Indian region.

The Coimbatore event served as a unique platform for meaningful connectivity and collaboration between travel trade partners from India and Sri Lanka. The event was attended by over 110 Indian travel trade professionals and over 30 media personnel.

The roadshow is part of a wider series in South India, following the successful Madurai (October 6) and Chennai (October 10) leg. The series has enhanced Sri Lankan tourism visibility and strengthened bilateral ties with India’s vibrant travel community.
