Sonali Life Insurance Company, a leading private sector life insurance organisation, on Sunday (27 July, 2025) undertook a voluntary blood donation initiative , aiming to stand by the victims of tragic Milestone School and College jet crash, occurred recently.
Sonali Life arranges this camp in support with Quantum Foundation, a prominent humanitarian organization of the country, at the Sonali’s head office premises, Malibagh Chowdhury Para in the capital.
Sonali Life Director, Sheikh Mohammad Daniel formally inaugurated the day-long blood donation camp while the company’s Acting CEO Rafiqul Islam, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mohammad Monzur Morshed and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
Delivering his inaugural address, Sheikh Mohammad Daniel said Sonali Life has its commitment to make response to every humanitarian and social causes whenever or wherever it requires, and this voluntary blood donation initiative is very much aligned with Sonali’s pledges.
“As part of it’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sonali every year extends its cooperation in various fields including education, health care, also provides humanitarian assistance to the people deprived of opportunity , but this time it’s really a great cause to stand by the injured students, teachers and general people in the tragic and pathetic occurrence of jet crash at Uttara Milestone School & College.”, Daniel added.
He said although this will not be a voluminous contribution but still we are doing this from the call of our conscience and sense of our humanitarian responsibilities.

Almost 100 employees and officials of Sonali Life donated their valuable blood while an efficient team of Quantum Foundation worked for day long to make the initiative a success.
