Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Chief Advisor to the Interim Government, said that social business has the power to change not only Bangladesh but the entire world.
He also said that social business is the only right way to ensure healthcare for everyone in the world. Through this, it is possible to successfully address the challenges of healthcare.

He said these things while addressing the chief guest at the inauguration of the two-day ‘Social Business Day’ at the Jirabo Social Convention Center in Savar on Friday (June 27, 2025).
The 15th Social Business Day was inaugurated with a pleasant cultural program. The Chief Advisor joined the program as the keynote speaker.

Yunus Center and Grameen Group have jointly organized the 15th Social Business Day.
This year’s Social Business Day is being celebrated with the theme ‘Social Business is the best way to ensure healthcare for all’.
He urged the youth to bring about global change, saying that as entrepreneurs, they should start small, dream big and work together to build a world characterized by three zeros – ‘zero poverty, zero unemployment and zero average carbon emissions.’




The inaugural ceremony was attended by UN Resident Coordinator in Bangladesh Gwynne Lewis, founder of Japan’s Euglena GG Limited Mitsuru Izumo, former World Bank Vice President and NGIC Vice President Ismail Serageldin, Chairman of Grameen Group Md. Ashraful Hasan, Public Relations Officer of Yunus Center Zeenat Islam and others.
More than 1,400 delegates from 38 countries of the world participated in this year’s conference.
Members of the Advisory Council, senior government officials, diplomats from various countries serving in Bangladesh and foreign guests were present at the inaugural ceremony.
