SM Rafiqul Islam Bachchu, the BNP nominee for Gazipur-3 constituency, said that a strong unity has been formed between BNP leaders and activists and the common people in Gazipur ahead of the upcoming national elections, which will take the party forward on the path of victory.
He said these things while addressing a huge election rally held at Bhawal Rajbari Ground in Gazipur on Tuesday (January 27, 2026) night.

Rafiqul Islam Bachchu said that today’s public rally proves that a strong unity has been formed between BNP and the people in Gazipur. He expressed optimism and said, “With the strength of this unity, God willing, we will be able to gift all five seats in Gazipur to BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman in the upcoming February 12 elections.”

He told the party leaders and activists that the 31-point program announced by BNP and Tarique Rahman’s development ideas should be delivered to every house. He commented that victory will be assured only if the party’s goals and plans are clearly presented to the people.
Rafiqul Islam Bachchu also said that no force can hold BNP back if party unity is maintained. He urged everyone to remain united and remain active in the election field.
Highlighting BNP’s future plans for the development of Gazipur in his speech as the chief guest, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman said that a flyover will be constructed at Joydebpur rail crossing, canal excavation, establishment of day-care centers in industrial areas, family cards for women and farmer cards for farmers will be introduced. He called for the candidates with the paddy sheaf symbol to win the upcoming elections to implement these plans.
At this time, BNP candidates for five constituencies of Gazipur were introduced. They are: Mujibur Rahman in Gazipur-1 constituency, A.M. Manjurul Karim Roni in Gazipur-2, S.M. Rafiqul Islam Bachchu in Gazipur-3, Shah Riazul Hannan in Gazipur-4 and Fazlul Haque Milan in Gazipur-5 constituency.
The public meeting held under the chairmanship of Metropolitan BNP President Shawkat Hossain Sarkar was moderated by M. Manjurul Karim Roni and Chowdhury Ishraq Ahmed Siddiqui. BNP Organizing Secretary Kazi Sayedul Alam Babul and several central and local level leaders also spoke at the meeting.
