SL-MICE Expo 2025 Kicks Off in Colombo: Showcasing Sri Lanka’s MICE Tourism Potential

The much-anticipated SL-MICE Expo 2025 officially began today (22 September) in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Tour operators, tourists, and media representatives from various countries—including Bangladesh—have already arrived in the Sri Lankan capital to take part in this premier event.

On the opening day, international guests were taken on a tour of Colombo city, introducing them to its key attractions and giving them a firsthand experience of Sri Lanka’s rich culture and heritage.

Organizers noted that this initiative not only strengthens Sri Lanka’s internal ties but also opens doors to promoting the country globally as a leading destination.

Such activities are expected to play a significant role in showcasing Sri Lanka’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) tourism to the world.

Many participants have already begun enjoying the beauty, hospitality, and diverse experiences that Sri Lanka has to offer.

Over the five-day program, participants will also take part in business forums, B2B meetings, gala dinners, and exclusive familiarization tours designed to provide direct insights into Sri Lanka’s thriving tourism and MICE potential.
