Seminar on Better Employment in Japan Held in Dhaka

A seminar titled ‘Japan Job Seminar’ was held in Dhaka on Tuesday (August 12, 2025) to raise awareness about safe and better career opportunities in Japan.

The event was organized by Hitech Corporation LLC, Japan, Heartful Limited Bangladesh and Trust Technical Training Institute in collaboration with them.

The seminar mainly featured information-based discussions and presentations on advice and actionable steps on job opportunities in Japan.

The seminar highlighted important topics like knowing about work visa options in Japan including SSW, Engineering, TITP, etc. Separate presentations were presented on full training, visa application assistance, permanent residence in Japan in the future and ways to bring family members to Japan.

An interactive question and answer session was also held at the event where participants raised various questions and the speakers answered them with due seriousness.

Yoshida Tomohiro, Managing Director of Hitech Corporation Japan, a prominent Japanese entrepreneur of Bangladeshi origin, was the chief guest at the event, while Murad Hasan Zenith, Managing Director of Heartful Limited, Bangladesh, moderated the entire event.

Yoshida Tomohiro, Managing Director of Hitech Corporation, said, “Our goal is to connect Japanese industries with the skilled and semi-skilled workforce of Bangladesh, creating a sustainable migration path,”

Emphasizing on following legally acceptable and ethical migration paths, he said, the seminar was organized to advise candidates on legitimate work visa routes such as SSW, Engineer Visa TTIP, so that they can be protected from fraudulent migration channels.

The Managing Director of Heartful Limited said, Bangladeshi workers have gone to many countries including the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Europe where they have been contributing to strengthening their economies by working in various professions, but today it is time to go beyond conventional thinking and look at new possibilities.

Noting that Japan is facing a historic challenge, Murad Hasan said, “They will have a shortage of 11 million workers by 2040. This is not just a gap, it is a crisis for them, but a golden opportunity for us because we have a huge workforce to exploit the opportunity.”

Trust Technical Training Institute (TTTI), Savar, Director Brigadier General Md. Omar Farooq, NDC, AFWE, PSC (Retd.), Heartful Limited Director Mahbub Sohel and Hyperlink Skills Japan Director, Operations, Iram Mahbub also spoke on various topics in the seminar.

Around 150 registered individuals participated in the seminar who are planning to build their future careers in Japan.
