On Tuesday (November 4, 2025), the Russian House in Dhaka held the “Big Ethnographic Dictation” educational campaign, which was open to all residents of Bangladesh. The event was part of the jubilee X International Festival “Peoples of Russia and the CIS”, held on the initiative of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The Big Ethnographic Dictation is an educational project that introduces the culture of peoples living in Russia and allows participants to assess their level of ethnocultural literacy. The campaign was simultaneously conducted across all regions of the Russian Federation and abroad.

Director of the Russian House in Dhaka Alexandra Khlevnoy stated: “Holding the Dictation in Bangladesh contributes to strengthening mutual understanding and cultural ties between our peoples. This is an excellent opportunity for Bangladeshi citizens to learn more about Russia’s multinational culture.”
The event attracted local residents, students, academics, and all those interested in Russian culture. Participants were able not only to test their knowledge but also to learn new information about the rich cultural heritage of Russia’s peoples.
