Royal Thai Embassy organizes Buddhist Chanting Ceremony in memory of late King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand

On Wednesday (8 October 2025), the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka organized a Buddhist Chanting Ceremony to mark the passing away anniversary of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand.

At the ceremony, the Thai Ambassador and embassy officials paid their respects to His Majesty the late King. Nine monks from the International Buddhist Monastery in Dhaka were invited to participate in the ceremony and chant for religious prayers and merit-making.

After the prayer ceremony, a luncheon was organized in honor of the monks at the Ambassador’s residence. The entire ceremony was filled with an atmosphere of calm, dignity, and respect, reflecting the deep love and gratitude of the Thai people and the embassy for the late King.
