Prime Minister of Bangladesh Tarique Rahman has departed Dhaka for Tokyo on an official visit, at the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
He departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Tokyo on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight at approximately 12:15 AM on Monday (October 26, 2026).
Accompanying the Prime Minister on this visit are his wife, Dr. Zubaida Rahman; Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism M. Rashiduzzaman Millat; several other cabinet members; political figures; senior government officials; and members of the Prime Minister’s personal staff.
