Opposition Leader Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Leaves Dhaka for Holy Hajj

Honorable Opposition Leader of the National Assembly and Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, MP has left Dhaka for Saudi Arabia to perform the holy Hajj.

He left the country at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport today (Wednesday, May 20, 2026) at noon.

At that time, the organization’s Secretary General and former MP Mia Golam Parwar, Central Assistant Secretary General and Secretary of the Central Publicity and Media Department Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, Central Executive Council Member Mubarak Hossain, Central Executive Council Member and Ameer of Dhaka Metropolitan North Mohammad Selim Uddin and Barrister Nazibur Rahman Momen, MP were present at the airport to bid him farewell.
