The previously announced ‘Open House Day’ was held at the Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) conference room in Dampara on Tuesday (February 10, 2026) from 3 pm to 5 pm. In this event, service seekers were able to present their complaints and problems directly to senior CMP officials.
Mr. Wahidul Haque Chowdhury, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) and Additional In-charge (Finance and Administration) of CMP, was present, who after listening to the statements of the service seekers, ordered immediate action to be taken. Several service seekers expressed their satisfaction by thanking the Additional Commissioner of Police for getting immediate solution to their problems.
Other senior officials present were: Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime and Operations) Mr. Muhammad Faisal Ahmed; Deputy Commissioner of Police (Sadar) Mr. Md. Ferdous Ali Chowdhury, BPM; Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Mr. Hossain Mohammad Kabir Bhuiyan; and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-North) Mr. Nesar Uddin Ahmed PPM. Besides, other senior officials of CMP and respected city residents were also present.
