NRB Bank PLC inaugurates 101st network point in Saidpur, Nilphamari

NRB Bank PLC, one of the fastest growing emerging banks in Bangladesh, has inaugurated a new sub-branch in Saidpur, Nilphamari. With this, the number of network points of the bank in the country has reached 101.

Md. Ali Mahmud, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank’s Rangpur Office, was present as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony. Md. Rashidul Huda, Deputy Managing Director of NRB Bank PLC, was the special guest. Md. Taufiqul Alam Chowdhury, SEVP and Head of Branch Banking Division of the bank, along with other guests, were also present at the ceremony.

In his speech, the chief guest thanked NRB Bank for expanding the bank’s activities in Saidpur. He said that emphasis should be placed on financing the SME sector for the development of local entrepreneurs and businessmen, which will accelerate the economic growth of the region. He also urged the bank to ensure error-free and customer-friendly services.

By inaugurating the new sub-branch, NRB Bank further expressed its commitment to contribute to the overall development of the country through financial inclusion, modern banking services and entrepreneurship creation.
