Nepalese Ambassador to Dhaka Ghanshyam Bhandari welcomed a Nepali delegation comprising professors and academicians from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University and Pokhara University.
In a brief interaction, various aspects and possibilities of further strengthening cooperation between educational institutions of Bangladesh and Nepal were discussed. Both sides emphasized on strengthening people-to-people ties between the people of the two countries through academic exchange, research collaboration and increasing student engagement.
The delegation is currently in Bangladesh to participate in the Global Sanitation Graduate School – South and South East Asia Hub, an important international initiative run by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Dhaka – Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
