Nepal–Bangladesh Youth Cooperation Must Be Strengthened: Nepal’s Deputy Chief of Mission Lalita Silwal

Ms. Lalita Silwal, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Nepal in Dhaka, attended the ‘Glocal Teen Hero Bangladesh 2025’ event as the Chief Guest. The program was jointly organized by Glocal Pvt. Ltd. Nepal and Daffodil International University, Bangladesh.

In her remarks, Ms. Silwal highlighted the deep people-to-people ties between Nepal and Bangladesh. She noted that initiatives like Glocal Teen Hero play a vital role in strengthening collaboration and fostering harmony among the youth of both countries.

Congratulating the top six finalists, Ms. Silwal praised their creative initiatives aimed at bringing positive social change. Along with other dignitaries, she presented the award to the winner of Glocal Teen Hero Bangladesh 2025, Mr. Mahmudul Hasan, in recognition of his SDG-focused initiative.

The event was attended by various local and international guests, academics, entrepreneurs, and young changemakers.
