Nepal Ambassador meets Chittagong Hill Tracts Advisor to strengthen Nepal-Bangladesh relations

Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari paid a courtesy call on Chittagong Hill Tracts Advisor Mr. Supradeep Chakma on Wednesday (July 23) afternoon.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest. The discussions focused on enhancing trade, connectivity, energy sector and people-to-people exchanges.

They highlighted the need for closer cooperation in several important sectors including climate change, hilly areas agenda, disaster management and information and data exchange. In addition, both sides emphasized on strengthening mutual cooperation through regional and sub-regional frameworks.
