On the occasion of Global Day 2025, the Embassy of Nepal participated in a seminar titled “Building Our Future Together: Hopes and Lessons” held at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). Nepal’s Ambassador to Bangladesh, Ghanashyam Bhandari, attended the event as the Chief Guest.
In his remarks, Ambassador Bhandari emphasized the crucial role of the United Nations in strengthening multilateralism and noted its particular importance for countries like Nepal and Bangladesh.
He highlighted the current global challenges facing the UN and underscored the longstanding contributions of Nepal and Bangladesh—especially their leadership in promoting peace, sustainable development, and inclusive multilateralism.
