The National Consensus Commission will submit its final report to the interim government very soon, said the Vice-Chairman of the Commission, Professor Ali Riaz.
He made this statement at a meeting of the National Consensus Commission led by Commission President and Chief Advisor, Professor Muhammad Yunus, at the State Guest House, Jamuna, on Sunday morning (October 5, 2025).
In the meeting, which lasted for about an hour, the meeting was informed about the attitudes of political parties on the content of the July Charter and its implementation method, and the position of the Consensus Commission on this issue.
In the meeting, Chief Advisor, Professor Muhammad Yunus, expressed satisfaction with the progress of the work of the Consensus Commission.
Vice-Chairman of the Commission, Professor Ali Riaz, said that the Consensus Commission has received extensive cooperation from all political parties. In addition, the media has given unimaginable support to the Consensus Commission.
Commission President and Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus thanked and wished all the members of the Commission. He directed to inform him about the final progress of the Commission’s work as soon as possible.
In today’s meeting, Consensus Commission Vice-Chairman Professor Ali Riaz, Commission members Justice Md. Emdadul Haque, Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, Dr. Badiul Alam Majumder, Dr. Md. Ayub Mia and Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor Monir Haider were present on behalf of the Commission.
In addition, Interim Government Advisors Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan, Asif Nazrul and Adilur Rahman Khan were present in the meeting.
