Mr. Anwar Uddin has been promoted to the post of Additional Managing Director (AMD) of NRB Bank. With over four decades of experience, Mr. Uddin is highly experienced and skilled in banking operations, strategic management and corporate relations.
Mr. Uddin started his banking career in 1987 with NCC Bank Limited as a Probationary Officer. Later, he joined Southeast Bank Limited in 1996, where he served in various positions with dedication and efficiency. Later, he was promoted to the post of Deputy Managing Director.
While working at Southeast Bank, Mr. Uddin played a significant role in various important areas including Corporate Banking, Portfolio Management, Credit Marketing and Administration, International Trade, Risk Management, Strategic Management, Compliance, AML and CFT, Human Resource Management and Training and Development.
Later, Mr. Uddin joined NRB Bank PLC as Deputy Managing Director. In recognition of his leadership, expertise and contribution to the Bank, the Board of Directors has promoted him to the post of Additional Managing Director.
Throughout his career, Mr. Uddin has demonstrated exceptional leadership and organizational skills. He has made significant contributions to the growth and success of the institutions he has served. He has also played a key role in building long-term relationships with prominent corporate clients and implementing effective risk management strategies. It is expected that his acquired experience, knowledge and skills will play a significant role in taking NRB Bank further forward.
