Motaleb Sikder, convener of the Khulna divisional committee of the National Citizens Party (NCP) and central organizer of the workers’ power, has been shot.
The incident took place in public in Sonadanga area on Monday (December 22) at around 12:15 pm. He has been taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital in a critical condition, it is learnt.
Locals rescued him and took him to Khulna Medical College Hospital. He is undergoing treatment there. However, his condition is critical.
