Mobile court conducted in Gazipur to prevent illegal hoarding of fuel oil, monitor correct measurement and sale at fixed price

Desk Report:

To address the fuel crisis, a mobile court was conducted in Kunia and Targach areas of Gazipur on Tuesday (March 10, 2026) to prevent illegal hoarding of fuel oil, ensure correct measurement and market price.

In the operation, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Mr. Md. Salehur Rahman and Mr. Ahmed Ali Adnan imposed a total fine of 40,000/- (forty thousand) taka in two separate cases for violating the Weights and Measures Act, 2018.

This activity of the administration will continue in the public interest.
