A day-long training was organized for newly appointed commercial diplomats in various Bangladesh missions under the control of the Ministry of Commerce on Monday (August 11) at the meeting room of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The Economic Minister of the Permanent Mission of Bangladesh in Geneva, Commercial Counselors working in the Commercial Wing of the Bangladesh Embassy in Seoul, Brasilia, Brussels, Tehran and Ankara, and newly appointed First Secretary (Commercial) at the Bangladesh High Commission in Ottawa and the Bangladesh Consulate General in Kunming participated in the training.
Agriculture Secretary Dr. Mohammad Emdad Ullah Mian inaugurated the training program as the chief guest. Additional Secretary and Director General (Seed Wing), Additional Secretary (PPC) and senior officials from various departments and organizations were present as resource persons.
