On the occasion of Martyr Intellectuals Day 2025, martyred intellectuals were remembered in Gazipur with due dignity and solemnity. Wreath-laying and discussion meetings were organized at the scheduled time to mark the day.
The discussion meeting discussed in detail the sacrifice of the martyred intellectuals, their outstanding contribution to the great freedom struggle, and the importance of preserving and presenting this glorious history to the new generation.
Mr. Mohammad Alam Hossain, Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate of Gazipur district, was present at the event. Also present were Mr. Ahmed Hossain Bhuiyan, Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary), Local Government, Gazipur; Representative of Superintendent of Police, Gazipur; Mr. Salma Khatun, learned Additional District Magistrate, Gazipur; Mr. Md. Sohel Rana, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue and LA); Mr. Md. Shahriar Nazir, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) and Mr. M. Rakibul Hasan, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT), Gazipur.
